A widowed father, ad seven sons who fought. They fought about crops, weather, and food. THe widow dies. Every child was to be given an equal share of inheritance, but first, together they must make gold from thread without fighting. Evaluation:
The book is a beautifully written narrative that has the Kwanzaa principles woven into it. The illustrations are eye-catching and are culturally relevant. A great book to keep on the shelf to diversify the content.
